     “Professor Irwin Cotler spoke at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs on the subject of universal jurisdiction. Cotler argued that the principle can be very beneficial but that it is currently being used as a weapon to delegitimize the state of Israel. Abuse of universal jursidiction should be stopped and real efforts should be aimed against those leaders who do engage in acts of genocide, incitement to genocide and crimes against humanity such as the president of Sudan and the president of Iran Ahmadinejad.” View the video here or below:
